Error messages

Map Creator automatically performs some validations on the data that you are editing before sending it to our experts for review. You might encounter the following messages in the “Road attributes” panel:

1 “The road has a steep angle. Try to smooth the curve.”

How to fix the problem:
  • Reduce the angle by adding more shape points.

2 “Motorists can´t leave this road. Please check the attributes.”

How to fix the problem:
  • Check if the direction of travel of the road or adjacent roads is correct.

3 “Motorists can´t get to the starting point of this road. Please check the attributes.”

How to fix the problem:
  • Check if the direction of travel of the road or adjacent roads is correct.

4 “Motorists can´t leave this road. Please check the attributes.” and “Motorists can´t get to the starting point of this road. Please check the attributes.”

How to fix the problem:
  • Check if the direction of travel of the road and adjacent roads is correct and if the road is properly connected to another road.
